I am SO comforted right now that you ha...OMG Brett. I am SO comforted right now that you have the exact same reactions that I have regarding "the big thing". I too, believe that a constant state of readiness softens the harsh blow of reality. I despise the annual exam and await the form postcard that arrives with my "all is clear" results. I'm scared that the phone call will come instead. "We need you come back in for further testing". I think I just threw up a little in my mouth. I'm going to watch my kids play for a while and live vicariously through their innocence. Thanks for the blog and so glad that all is ok!
